We’ve started the tomato plants for you! Our tomato plant plugs bundle includes the Shelby Tomato, Hossinator Tomato, Red Snapper Tomato, and the Better Boy Tomato. You will receive 10 plugs of each variety that are ready to be transplanted to your garden. These tomato varieties have heavy-yield and excellent disease resistance. Shelby, Hossinator, and Red Snapper are all determinate varieties, while the Better Boy is an indeterminate variety. Capsicum annuum. Seed garden label included. 40 plugs

Tomatoes are in the nightshade family along with peppers and eggplant. Plants in the nightshade family are susceptible to blossom end rot, which is a result of a calcium deficiency. To prevent or alleviate this problem, apply pelleted gypsum at the base of the plant at bloom set. We recommend using the Florida Weave trellising technique that involves using stakes and twine along the row. This ensures that plants and fruits stay off the ground, reducing the possibility of disease and keeping fruits clean.

Hoss will conduct a full assessment of plants before they are shipped to ensure healthy plants are shipped to you. We recommend transplanting your plugs the same day you receive them or the next day. It is the customer's responsibility to assess their own weather conditions and planting times prior to ordering, please do not order if it's too early. If plants, upon arrival, are found to be in questionable health, please email pictures to Customer Support at custserv@hosstools.com within 24 hours of receiving your order and we will promptly review your concerns and submission. If your plants are not watered or planted in a timely manner, they may not survive.

The plugs arrive well preserved. Out of all of them, only one plant died so I'm ok with it. The other 39 are doing OK. I can't wait for the weather to be stable and have them outside.
doing great and time to stake them up
Just got my tomatoe plug bundle Friday and got them divvied up between 2 households. We've both got them all planted and garden looks great. Can't wait for fresh tomatoes.
Strawberries I'll have to try again. What the squirrels didn't get the extra cold weather did.
All my plants lived in spite of monsoon rains and extra cool weather
and are doing very well. I am looking forward to spending more time with them after April 15. You could say they are CPA proof.
