Monterey B t is a biological insecticide for control of worms and caterpillars on fruits, vegetables, ornamentals and shade trees. Monterey B t is a naturally occurring material based on the bacteria Bacillus thuringiensis.
On fruits and vegetables, apply at the first sign of infestation and repeat at weekly intervals when needed to maintain control of cabbage loopers, cabbage worms and tomato hornworms on broccoli, cauliflower, collards, kale, mustard greens, turnip greens, cabbage, celery, lettuce, melons and tomatoes.
On shade trees and ornamentals, apply at first sign of infestation and repeat at weekly intervals when needed to maintain control of bagworm, fall cankerworm, tent caterpillar, fall webworm, spring cankerworm, gypsy moth and elm spanworm.
Monterey B t Mixing Instructions
Mix 2 fluid ounces per 3 gallons of water (4 teaspoons per gallon) for a hand sprayer. For fruits and vegetables, apply to all plant foliage to cover an area of 1,000 square feet. For shade trees and ornamentals, apply to thoroughly cover all foliage surfaces of shade trees and ornamentals. Can be applied up to the day of harvest on fruits and vegetables. Slow acting.
