We're giving you ALL the tips and tricks on how to be successful. Let's grow together!

What You Need To Know About Growing Strawberries!

Are you looking to grow strawberries at home? There are several ways to do so, including planting them in the ground or using containers. While both methods can be successful, it's worth considering which option may be better suited for your particular situation.

If you are interested in growing strawberries during the fall and winter months, note that USDA Hardiness Zones 6-10 are the ideal zones for this. Depending on your zone, you should plant at different times. In Zones 7 & 8, it's best to plant in October, and in Zones 9 & 10, late October or November is the recommended time to plant.

In order to ensure that your strawberries grow well, it's important to pay attention to the soil and fertilizer requirements. Always check the pH levels, which should be between 6.0 and 6.5. Fertilize heavily at the beginning and give the plants plenty of food early on. Additionally, add complete organic fertilizer about a week before planting for optimal growth.
